NO ONE WISHED TO SETTLE HERE - Constant Slapstick And Traveling
(CON002 - 2008)

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. In this new modern day epic, Michal is retelling his tale of two 'cities', Poland and the U.S. A remarkable piece of music which seems caught between two worlds, lost in moments, entering a new world, but always recalling sombre Eastern European roots.
no one wished to settle here brings you an ambient kind of postrock. Dreamlike and full of emotion, yet powerful and utterly stubborn from time to time.

Limited to 100 copies.

P:407 - Themes For The Coming Apokalypse
(CON003 - 2008)

Dupont and Timmermans return a few years after The Post Dagger Experience with a brand new effort. Described as their best work ever, the new album Themes for the coming Apokalypse takes you away for three songs that last over half an hour. As the album title states it hands you the score for a trip through dark and moody places.
P:407 brings you a unique blend of melodic doomy music with a shot of 'post', floating on a black metal feel. A truly remarkable effort that most surely deserves attention.

Limited to 100 copies.

TIMER - Yet Here We Stand
(CON004 - 2008)

The Antwerp-based experimental sludgecore band Timer arose from the heart of darkness to present their debut cdr-album Yet Here We Stand.
They may be influenced by the usual suspects (Cult of Luna, Isis, Tool, ...), they certainly go beyond being mere epigones. Mixing ambient and atmospheric pieces with beastly heavy monolithic blows to the head, their music results in a promising and unique sound that can only be grasped as dark and utterly bleak.

Limited to 150 copies.

Sold Out!

FRAGMENT - s/t
(CON005 - 2009)

On this self-titled album fragment. displays the ranges of its own universe: soundscape-like guitars interplay with carefully arranged subtle melodies, topped with vast vocals that allow the songs to breathe.
This release brings you to a state of dreamlike melancholy. fragment's universe might not be happy, but it's damned beautifully constructed.

Limited to 100 copies.

Sold Out!

TALBOT - Tundra
(CON006 - 2009)

Who would have thought Estonia would spawn a sludge-doom monster like Talbot? This album simply is a must-have for fans of Electric Wizard and the likes. Stoner-sludge doom larded with psychedelica in vain of the Great Doom Masters. But even more, Talbot is able to speak in its own voice and claims an own identity within the genre. They are incredibly versatile and operate within a vast range: from brutal to subtle, from clean to grunts... It all sounds natural in Talbot's unique way.
Tundra is a reissue of the EP distributed by the band itself. Those tracks are now collected on a brand new cdr and are completed with 2 previously unreleased songs.

Limited to 100 copies.

Mt. - Teach Your Children How To Think, Not What To Think
(SOUL0002 - 2009)

It has been a while since we heard new tunes by the band branded by The Silent Ballet as “one of the shining new lights of the UK post-rock scene”.
The EP contains 4 brand new tracks that push beyond 2006 critically acclaimed Lethologica. During the years of silence the band progressed as songwriters, which is reflected in every track on the Teach Children How To Think, Not What To Think EP. Intelligently layered structures entwined with amazingly crafted melodies leave no room for interpretation: Mt. are back and determined to permanently claim a place in the spotlights.

VANESSA VAN BASTEN - Psygnosis EP
(SOUL0003 - 2008)

This heavy Italian postrock ensemble does not constrict itself to the laws of some Great Postrock Bible. Instead it blends in psychedelica, ambient influences, metal and shoegaze to result in a unique musical experience.
Dreamlike and cinematographic sounds collide with heavy and dark sonic assaults: the music is incredibly crafted and reveals more of its intrinsic beauty every time it is being played.
Vanessa Van Basten has kept their lo-fi attitude as the tracks were recorded in the rehearsal room and at home with the aid of a technician and feature a human drummer (no more drum computer this time) that has toured with the band in the past.
The EP comes in an oversized folded cover with a sixteen page booklet inserted.

METHADRONE - Better Living (Through Chemistry)
(SOUL0006 - 2009)

Methadrone has come a long way since its conception as a 2-bassed sludge/drone monolith. Craig Pillard (who has been part of Evoken, Incantation, e.a.) gradually expanded his sound through experiment with acoustic guitars and other vocal collaborations. Better Living (Through Chemistry) is pushing beyond the boundaries of traditional doom music, resulting in well balanced atmospheric pieces of music which make this third full album the apogee of Methadrone's oeuvre this far.
On this innovative journey, that bridges the gaps between doom, drone, dark ambient, wave and even neo-folk, Pillard sided with Jason Wallach (The Unquiet Void), Tara Vanflower (Lycia) and Thierry Arnal (fragment.) to present their next step in the evolution of gloomy music.

EXXASENS - Beyond the Universe
(SOUL0007 - 2009)

After Exxasens' debut cdr Polaris sold out at lightspeed it was clear we had to take up to the next level. So, here we are: Beyond the Universe!
This debut full album picks up where Polaris left: beautiful unearthly melodies somewhere on the line between post-rock and post-metal. Impossible to pinpoint an exact genre or reference point: Barcelona's Exxasens maintains a unique musical journey. A journey that leads the listener somewhere... Beyond the Universe.

MONDRIAN OAK - Through Early Seed
(SOUL0008 - 2009)

Mondrian Oak conceived in autumn 2007, and slowely paved the path to launch their debut album Through Early Seed. These Italians shared the stage with a lot of great bands (Zippo, Gerda, Last Minute To Jaffna, Viscera/// e.a.), which most certainly helped them to shape their own voice within the genre: they have crafted a sound which is evocative and psychedelic merely with the classic rock instruments, devoid of excess. With their loud, doomy and gloomy outbursts that alternate with intimistic accoustic parts, their music is situated on the crossroads between postrock and postcore. The maturity and originality they put in the arrangements of the composition makes this a debut album that truly stands out, and predicts a promising future!

SIMULACRA - There is a Fountain filled with Blood
(SOUL0009 - 2010)

Degradation, degeneration, fear, sadness, loneliness, the end... these and many other negativities, "dressed in a dark ambient garment" can be felt in the new work of Simulacra. The five foggy pieces of work that overwhelm the listener with a feeling of a total solitariness while waiting for something that is not avoidable and can’t be stopped create the musical whole. The sounds used in the new album of Simulacra are, as usual, the minimalist form of dark ambient, that emanates with hypnotic attraction.
The main motif of the new album is a fountain filled with blood that symbolizes the source of death, the place we constantly head on in our gloomy existential pilgrimage. The atmosphere of the album grabs the listener’s heart... to stop its beating with one grip.

ENDER - s/t

"Ender describe themselves as experimental drone rock - which means their palette is mainly comprised of layered slabs of overdriven guitar........the pair have the capacity not only to construct great caverns of noise but to deftly evoke mood and emotion with sustained tones in harmony and dissonance. The arrangement of pure tone, minus premeditated riffs or the focus of a voice allows a listener to be carried away on its waveforms. The music is corralled into four unnamed parts, perhaps heralding a seasonal life cycle." - Jacob Connor, NZ Musician Magazine
Comes in a wonderful digipack
