DEMO POLICY
Before sending us a demo or promo cd, always check our previous releases
to
make sure that your music fits our label. We do not release
electro, goth, heavy/black/death metal, rock & roll and the likes; we
only release
post, doom or drone related.
If you have any doubts about the fitting character of your music, you can
always send us an e-mail asking us to listen to your music on your
myspace
page
or to mp3's you have uploaded on your website.
Don't send us messages via myspace simply stating "We are looking
for a label". Create an e-mail address. We guarantee our professional
commitment;
please respect we are looking for people with the same professional
attitude.
Never send us mp3's through mail: these will be deleted immediately.
We prefer and give priority to promos received on cd(-r).
When you send us a promo parcel, make sure it is well documented. A cd
and
letter saying "will you release my band" most likely will not be
sufficient. Always include a biography, discography and any useful liner
notes you may come up with.
Also, be sure to clearly write the band name and e-mail address whereon
we
can contact you on the cd.
If this is your very first recording/release or if you have only released
cd-r's
before, it is possible we only offer you a limited cd-r deal.
Please take this into consideration before sending us your material.
If you are a member of a copyright company, always mention this. This is
of
great importance to us in deciding which deal we offer you.
We are not interested in licensed releases for Europe only. Neither are
we
interested in live or rehearsal recordings.
We listen to everything we receive and one of us will always contact
you after we
have taken a decision. So please don't send us e-mails asking whether
we have received your cd and
if we are going to sign you. Be patient!
Patience is also of importance when we decide to sign you. We will
most likely not be
able to release your cd in the immediate future as we always plan
releases
months ahead.
If we decide not to work with you, don't expect an extensive review of
your music. We will however be as honest as possible in explaining why.
